Solana's Most Profitable App Surpasses Parent Chain's Revenue

Pump.fun, a memecoin launchpad on Solana, has reached a milestone, generating more than twice the monthly revenue of its parent chain. As of late August 2026, Pump.fun's trailing 30-day revenue sits between $42M and $51M, with weekly figures peaking at $14M.

This puts the platform on an annualized run rate of somewhere between $460M and $500M per year from a single application built on top of Solana. The platform has crossed $1.259B in cumulative revenue since its launch on January 19, 2024, making it the first application on Solana to clear the $1B mark.

Roughly half of all fees collected are funneled directly into automated buybacks and burns of the PUMP token, with total buybacks exceeding $429M. This has eliminated approximately 28.6% of the circulating supply.
