Solana's Real-World Asset Ecosystem Surpasses $18.5 Billion
Solana's Real-World Asset (RWA) ecosystem has reached an impressive milestone of $18.5 billion, according to data from RWA.xyz and research by Galaxy Digital and the Solana Foundation. This combined total includes stablecoins, tokenized funds, equities, and commodities. The stablecoin layer alone accounted for $16.4 billion in May 2026, making it the largest single component of the ecosystem.
The lineup of issuers on Solana's RWA network is diverse, with notable participants including Circle's USDC and Tether's USDT, as well as Western Union's USDPT and SoFi's SoFiUSD. On the non-stablecoin side, BlackRock, Ondo, and Securitize have launched tokenized products on the network.
The holder base of Solana's RWA ecosystem numbers between 230,000 and 398,000 unique participants across different asset classes and tracking methodologies. Interestingly, Solana captured a whopping 97% of all on-chain tokenized equities trading volume in the first half of 2026. This is significant because traditional financial infrastructure often settles trades on a T+2 basis, whereas on-chain settlement on Solana happens in seconds.
