Solana's Tokenized Stock Trading Gains Momentum Amid Growing Investor Interest
Solana is gaining attention for its tokenized stock trading capabilities, which allow markets to operate 24/7. According to CryptoRus, after-hours activity on Solana's network has increased significantly, with 63% of tokenized-equity activity taking place outside traditional market hours.
This growth in after-hours trading is accompanied by a surge in the number of holders, which has exceeded 727,000. However, it remains to be seen whether this usage will spread across Solana's network and impact the price of SOL, currently trading at $103.94.
CryptoRus points to three key signals to watch: chain TVL (total value locked), institutional demand for Ethereum spot ETFs, and the wider tokenization market. Chain TVL on Solana has increased 6.6% to $5.86 billion, but remains well below Ethereum's $49.97 billion.
The second signal comes from Ethereum itself, where spot ETH ETFs have recorded over $216 million in net inflows last Friday. This marks the fourth straight week of growth for these funds, indicating sustained institutional demand.
