Solflare Card Suspends Services Amid Issuer Insolvency

Share

Solflare Card has suspended its services due to the insolvency of issuer partner Kulipa.

Crypto wallet co-founder Vidor stated that user funds are safe as Solflare Card uses an end-to-end self-custody model, where cards deduct directly from users' wallets without requiring deposits or recharges.

The team previously tried to help Kulipa find a buyer and explore continuation plans but were unable to succeed.

A new version of Solflare Card is in development, which will integrate with Apple Pay and Google Pay, offer higher limits, cashback, and continue to maintain self-custody.
