Solido Foundation Crushed by $200M SUPRA Token Heist
The Solido Foundation has been hit by a major exploit, resulting in the loss of approximately 90% of its stolen SUPRA tokens. The attack occurred through a vulnerability in the protocol's oracle infrastructure, allowing an unauthorized transfer of funds to a suspected deposit address on Gate crypto exchange.
Roughly 220 million SUPRA tokens were moved to the exchange shortly after the attack took place. This is unusual, as typical DeFi exploits involve routing funds through mixers or across multiple blockchains to obscure the trail. The direct transfer to a centralized exchange may provide an opportunity for the assets to be frozen if the project team or law enforcement agencies request assistance.
The Solido Foundation has taken the heaviest hit in this incident, with 90% of the stolen tokens belonging to it. This loss could severely limit the project's capacity to execute its roadmap and sustain further development.
