Soluna and Bitdeer Team Up for Massive Bitcoin Mining Deployment
Soluna Holdings Inc., a company involved in data center operations and bitcoin mining, has partnered with Bitdeer Technologies Group to deploy approximately 28 MW of bitcoin mining equipment at its Project Kati 1 site in South Texas. This deployment represents around 1.93 exahashes per second of hash rate, which measures the computing power dedicated to bitcoin mining.
The agreement between Soluna and Dory Creek LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bitdeer Technologies Group, will see the deployment begin in September 2026, with ramping occurring in batches. This partnership takes the form of a co-mining arrangement, where Soluna provides the site, power, and turnkey operations while Bitdeer supplies its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment.
John Belizaire, CEO of Soluna, stated that 'co-mining is a natural extension of that operating history,' highlighting the company's experience in data center operations. He noted that this partnership puts their track record to work in a structure where they participate more directly in what the infrastructure produces, alongside a partner that builds some of the most capable machines in the industry.
