Soluna, Bitdeer Partner on 28 MW Bitcoin Mining Deployment at Texas Wind-Powered Site
Soluna Holdings and Bitdeer Technologies Group have entered into an agreement to deploy approximately 28 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment at Soluna's Project Kati 1 in South Texas. This deployment, representing around 1.93 EH/s of hash rate, will be the largest operating site for Soluna and is expected to start in September 2026.
The partnership between the two companies takes the form of a co-mining arrangement, where Soluna provides the site, power, and turnkey operations, while Bitdeer supplies its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment. The parties will share in the mining proceeds generated by this deployment.
According to John Belizaire, CEO of Soluna, 'Every megawatt we have energized taught us something about how to run this infrastructure well.' This co-mining arrangement is a natural extension of their operating history and allows them to participate more directly in the revenue generated by the infrastructure. The deployment at Project Kati 1 will be located in the site's K1BC phase.
