Sonic's DeFi Activity Spikes with Bundle Transaction Launch

Share

Sonic's decentralized exchange (DEX) volume spiked to a two-month high after the introduction of Bundle Transactions, a feature that allows users to combine multiple operations into one atomic transaction. According to data from DefiLlama, Sonic's DEX volume topped $2.46 million on August 27, the highest level since June 28.

This represents a more than tenfold increase from the August 15 low of $241,000. The feature is part of Sonic's broader effort to enhance the user experience and attract more DeFi activity to the network.

The sharp jump in volume suggests that Bundle Transactions has resonated with users, at least in the short term. However, the overall total value locked (TVL) on Sonic increased by only $770,000 over the past day, reaching approximately $17.22 million.
