South Korea's Altcoin Trading Volumes Skyrocket on Upbit and Bithumb

South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, are witnessing a surge in trading volume for altcoins. According to data from the past 24 hours, Cysic ($CYS) took the top spot with a trading volume of $36.4 million on Bithumb alone, accounting for approximately 17.9% of the exchange's total spot trading volume.

Cap ($CAP) was another notable altcoin, with a 24-hour trading volume of $22.1 million on Upbit and an additional $2.1 million on Bithumb, totaling $24.2 million across both exchanges.

The top five altcoins by trading volume over the past 24 hours include Cysic ($CYS), Cap ($CAP), Ontology Gas (ONG), CoW Protocol ($COW), and Perle (PRL).
