South Korea's Blockchain Roadmap Sparks XRP Price Forecast Speculation
South Korea's Financial Services Commission has published a roadmap to move stocks, bonds, and funds onto blockchain rails. The plan involves tokenizing conventional securities, starting with privately pooled money market funds and bonds for institutional investors, unlisted stocks via a trust structure, and publicly offered fractional investment securities.
The rollout is phased, with infrastructure build-out falling to the Korea Securities Depository in coordination with licensed securities firms. This development comes as XRP trades at $1.38, up 1.89% over the past 24 hours.
XRP's price forecast is uncertain, but analysts suggest that a clean defense of the current support band could keep the broader bull structure intact. On the other hand, a decisive close below $1.32 opens the door to the 200-day exponential moving average near $1.27.
