South Korea's Top Finance Leaders to Convene for EastPoint: Seoul 2026
South Korea's largest private digital-asset conference, EastPoint: Seoul 2026, is set to take place on September 28 at the Westin Seoul Parnas. The event will bring together senior executives from global and South Korean finance and fintech firms for in-depth discussions on the digital-asset industry.
This year's conference will focus on five themes: the opening of the institutional investment era, the evolution of stablecoins, the onchain transformation of capital markets, the era of AI agents, and blockchain adoption. Attendees include Chetan Karkhanis from Franklin Templeton, which manages about $1.8 trillion in assets, as well as Guy Wuollet from a16z Crypto.
Other notable speakers include Harry Jung, former deputy director of the White House Digital Assets Advisory Council; Caroline Pham, CEO of MoonPay Institutional and former acting chair of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission; and Kirk Cullimore, a Utah state senator and Republican majority leader in the state Senate. Global stablecoin and digital-asset firms including Tether and Circle will also be represented.
The conference is co-hosted by global venture capital firm Hashed, digital-asset media outlet Bloomingbit, and the Korea Economic Daily. More than 200 institutions and 503 decision-makers attended last year's event, which included over 50 business meetings and 40 private roundtables.
