SpaceX Blows Past Earnings Estimates with 92% Revenue Surge

SpaceX's financial performance has exceeded expectations in its first quarterly earnings as a public company. The aerospace giant reported $7.8 billion in revenue for Q2 2026, a significant jump of 92% from the previous quarter.

The key drivers behind this impressive growth were Starlink, the satellite internet unit, and the AI segment acquired when SpaceX merged with xAI in February 2026.

Starlink's subscriber base doubled to 10.3 million at the end of Q1, a testament to its growing popularity. The company's Nasdaq debut in June 2026 raised $75 billion, valuing it at around $1.8 trillion before correcting by 30-50% due to concerns over AI spending.

SpaceX also revealed that it holds 18,712 BTC on its balance sheet, valued at approximately $1.3 billion as of March 31. The company frames these holdings as a strategic cash reserve rather than a speculative bet, similar to MicroStrategy and Tesla's earlier approaches.
