A SpaceXAI manager has publicly dismissed the crypto community as 'insane', but his words may have had an unintended effect on two Solana meme coins. On Friday, Jimothy The Raccoon (JIMOTHY) rose 41% in 24 hours, while Bullshit Coin (BULLSHIT) gained 21% over the same window.

The price surge was triggered by a viral Twitter post from Nate Esparza, a senior technical product manager for ads at SpaceXAI. In his tweet, Esparza called the crypto community 'insane', but traders responded with raccoon images and token pitches instead of criticism.

Jimothy The Raccoon is a real raccoon in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood that has gained fame through social media and even inspired a city proclamation. Its Solana-based token has seen significant price gains since its launch, including a 186% increase in July.
