Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflows Soar to $216.7M Led by BlackRock's IBIT
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a significant rebound on August 31, reporting approximately $216.7 million in net inflows. This marks a reversal of the previous day's outflow streak.
The turnaround was led by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which attracted $205.9 million in inflows. This is a strong single-day recovery for IBIT, one of the largest spot Bitcoin ETFs by assets under management.
Fidelity's FBTC added $6.9 million in inflows, while Bitwise's BITB saw $4.3 million come into the fund. Morgan Stanley's newly launched MSBT contributed $3.6 million, and Grayscale's Mini Bitcoin Trust (BTC) brought in $9.4 million.
The only notable outflow came from VanEck's HODL, which saw $13.4 million leave the fund. This mixed but positive day highlights the continued demand for regulated Bitcoin exposure, even as some funds experience periodic redemptions.
