Spot Bitcoin ETFs See $170M Net Inflows as Institutional Interest Persists
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw significant net inflows on August 3, totaling $170.1 million. This reversal of a one-day outflow streak marks continued institutional adoption of spot Bitcoin ETFs as a regulated investment vehicle.
The largest contributor to these inflows was BlackRock's IBIT, which attracted $111.4 million in investor interest. Fidelity's FBTC added another $33.4 million, and other funds like Bitwise BITB, ARK Invest ARKB, Invesco BTCO, Franklin Templeton EZBC, and VanEck HODL also saw positive flows.
This uptick in demand comes during a period of market volatility, with Bitcoin prices fluctuating in recent weeks. Analysts note that these products offer traditional investors exposure to Bitcoin without the complexities of direct ownership.
