Spot Ethereum ETFs Record Second Consecutive Day of Positive Flows
The spot Ethereum ETFs have experienced their second consecutive trading day of positive flows on July 31, according to data from Farside Investors. Approximately $9 million in net inflows were recorded for U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds, marking a modest but sustained interest in the asset class.
The BlackRock iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led the day with $15.4 million in net inflows, while other major funds saw outflows. Fidelity's Ethereum Fund (FETH), Bitwise's Ethereum Strategy ETF (ETHW), and Grayscale's Mini Ethereum Trust (ETH) all experienced net outflows.
This trend highlights a market where investor preference is increasingly concentrated in a few dominant products, similar to the spot Bitcoin ETF space. Since their launch in July 2024, spot Ethereum ETFs have experienced volatile flows with cumulative net inflows hovering around $500 million, a stark contrast to the multi-billion-dollar inflows seen by Bitcoin ETFs.
