SPX6900 Surges 66% on Retail Trading Frenzy
The cryptocurrency SPX6900 has seen an impressive surge in value over the past week, rising by more than 66% and outperforming other top memecoins.
This rapid growth has been driven by retail traders, who have been buying into the asset. According to data from CryptoQuant, there has been a net whale flow of $900K in the past 30 days, with buys exceeding sell orders by $3.90 million against $3.01 million.
The Long/Short ratio on exchanges like Binance and OKX also indicates that retailers are behind the rally, with ratios of 1.56 and 3.67 respectively, indicating a strong bullish sentiment among smaller traders.
However, top traders have been less interested in SPX6900, with a Long/Short ratio of 1.42 for accounts on Binance and 1.28 for positions. Despite this, some key opinion leaders (KOLs) like Murad are still bullish on the asset.
The breakout from an eight-month consolidation period has sent SPX6900 above its 20-day and 50-day EMAs, with a MA Cross at $0.3549. However, the price needs to stay above $0.50 for retailers to hit their target of $0.70-$0.75.
