Stable ETH Price Despite Tightening Supply
Ethereum's supply has been steadily decreasing due to various factors such as the Halvening event, which occurs every 4 years and reduces the block reward by half. As a result, the total circulating supply of ETH has decreased from around 123 million in July 2022 to approximately 115 million in January 2023.
Despite this tightening supply, Ethereum's price remains relatively stable. Analysts attribute this to market sentiment and investor confidence, which is currently low due to global economic uncertainty and inflation concerns.
'The market has been experiencing a downturn since the beginning of the year,' said an analyst. 'Investors are cautious and waiting for a clearer indication of the market's direction.'
