Stablecoin Inflows Plummet to Lowest Levels Since 2025
Stablecoin inflows to cryptocurrency exchanges have dropped sharply since 2025, indicating weaker demand in the crypto market and reduced investor interest.
Average monthly stablecoin inflows stood at approximately $2.3 billion as of July 24, down from $3.7 billion annually in 2025, according to on-chain analyst Darkfost's analysis.
This decline represents a significant drop from the peak period when Bitcoin hit its all-time high last year, with average monthly inflows reaching $5.6 billion and an annual average of $4.3 billion.
The data suggests that purchasing power flowing into exchanges has contracted considerably, and stablecoins like USDT and USDC are typically held on exchanges by investors preparing to buy cryptocurrencies.
