Stablecoin Platform Fin Secures $17M Seed Round to Simplify Enterprise Cross-Border Payments
Fin, a new payments platform co-founded by Ian Krotinsky and Aashiq Dheeraj, has emerged from stealth mode with $17 million in seed funding to build stablecoin infrastructure for enterprise payments. The company aims to make sending millions of dollars across borders as easy as sending a text message.
Fin uses stablecoin rails to settle cross-border transactions, targeting high-value transfers for businesses like import-export firms that rely on slow bank wires. The platform lets users send funds to other Fin users, bank accounts, or crypto wallets, with the goal of keeping the experience simple and easy to use.
The revenue model will be based on transaction fees and interest earned on stablecoin reserves. A pilot program is set to launch in January 2026 with import-export businesses.
