Stablecoin Summit 2026 Returns to Singapore with Focus on Institutional Adoption
The Stablecoin Summit 2026, organized by XREX Group, is returning to Singapore on October 8, marking its fourth consecutive year in the city-state. The event brings together senior decision-makers from the stablecoin industry, including issuers, banks, payment providers, and regulators.
Wayne Huang, Co-founder and Group CEO of XREX Group, said that stablecoins have become an independent industry, with a market value potentially reaching $1 trillion. He noted that real-world adoption is driving momentum for deeper financial integration, with interoperability across stablecoins becoming increasingly important.
Singapore has established itself as a hub for stablecoin innovation, with 37 licensed digital payment token firms and MAS-led Project BLOOM testing stablecoins for domestic and cross-border settlement. The city-state's regulatory clarity, financial expertise, and willingness to test new models provide a strong setting for discussions on the future of stablecoins.
The Stablecoin Summit 2026 will feature over 30 speakers and more than 600 attendees from across the financial industry. Key discussions will focus on institutional adoption, new stablecoin models and currencies, cross-border financial infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks needed for the industry to scale.
