Stablecoins and Tokenized Assets Soar to New Heights
Stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets have shown significant growth in on-chain fundamentals, according to Will Wu, Head of APAC at Bitget Wallet. Speaking at Coinfest Asia 2026, Wu pointed out that the stablecoin market has reached approximately $300 billion, up roughly 14% from a year earlier.
The distributed asset value for tokenized real-world assets has surpassed $38 billion, up nearly 80% from just over $21 billion at the start of the year. This growth suggests sustained demand in these areas of crypto.
Wu also emphasized that on-chain activity often reflects structural differences in market access rather than coordinated narrative rotations. He suggested that sophisticated funds have an information and execution advantage, but this is not necessarily evidence of coordination.
