StablecoinX Reveals $218M ENA Reserve Holdings Amid Growing Stablecoin Trend
StablecoinX, an infrastructure company tied to the Ethena ecosystem, has disclosed its substantial $218 million ENA reserve holdings in its second-quarter report. The reserves comprise roughly 285 million ENA provided by the Ethena Foundation and 2.75 billion ENA from private investment in public equity (PIPE) investors.
This disclosure comes after StablecoinX completed its merger with TLGY, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), which allowed it to list on the Nasdaq exchange in June. The move provided the company with access to public capital markets and increased transparency through regular financial reporting.
The $218 million ENA reserve holdings are part of StablecoinX's broader strategy to support the Ethena protocol, which aims to create a synthetic dollar stablecoin backed by crypto assets. This liquidity and stability provision aligns with the company's mission to bridge traditional finance and decentralized finance.
