Stablezact Tackles Merchant Checkout Acceptance for Digital Assets
The adoption of stablecoins and crypto wallets has made significant progress in recent times, but there is still one major hurdle to overcome - merchant checkout acceptance.
This is an area where Stablezact, a payment infrastructure company, aims to make a difference. According to its founder Abisoye Falabi, the main constraint for many digital-asset holders is no longer access to a wallet but rather the lack of infrastructure connecting that wallet to the payment systems merchants already use.
'The customer should be able to pay with the asset they hold, while the merchant remains in control of how it receives settlement,' Falabi explains. 'Merchant adoption should not depend on every business becoming a crypto treasury operation.'
Stablezact primarily provides payment infrastructure to merchants and payment companies, including PayFacs, travel platforms, marketplaces, large e-commerce merchants, wallet providers, and other distribution channels.
