Stack's Bowers Galleries is gearing up for another high-profile cryptocurrency auction. This Labor Day weekend, collectors can bid on rare physical bitcoins and coins from various issuers, including Casascius, BTCC, Lealana, Kialara, and more.

The sale features classic rarities alongside low-mintage modern issues, with some items graded by PCGS or NGC. A standout collection includes the Casascius series, which boasts a premier type set of silver and brass denominations spanning 0.5 BTC to 1 BTC issues. Other highlights include a matched Lealana three-coin set from 2013 and rare BTCC Titanium and Poker Chip coins.

According to James McCartney, Director of Consignments and Numismatics, collectors are increasingly embracing physical bitcoins alongside traditional numismatic rarities. This sentiment is reflected in the firm's previous crypto auction, which realized nearly $600,000 in total prices and achieved industry-leading premiums.
