Stacks Correlation Fuels 18% Price Surge, Can STX Reclaim Premium Zone?
Stacks (STX) has been one of the biggest altcoin gainers in recent days, thanks to its correlation with Bitcoin (BTC). The token's price has surged by over 18% in the past 24 hours, with a corresponding increase in trading volume of 145%. This surge is largely due to the BTCFi narrative, which has driven speculative trading and institutional interest in Stacks as a Layer 2 (L2) solution for Bitcoin staking.
The technical indicators show that the market structure of Stacks is shifting. However, the altcoin remains below a key zone at $0.26, which could be crucial to its next rally. If STX can reclaim this premium zone as support, it increases the odds of trading towards its year-high of $0.40.
Traders are watching the short-term and midterm price movements closely, with the 4-hour chart showing a breakout from contraction and rising Open Interest (OI) across multiple exchanges. However, if STX fails to flip the $0.16-$0.17 zone into support, it could revert back to at least $0.14.
