Stacks (STX) Surges 13% as Bitcoin Rebound Lifts Crypto Market
Stacks (STX) has made a decisive reversal, pushing toward $0.24 after a 13% surge in price. This move comes as Bitcoin's rebound toward $80,000 lifts liquidity across major altcoins and marks the beginning of a risk-on phase for the crypto market.
The Stacks ecosystem is also experiencing significant developments with the PoX-5 upgrade going live on July 30. This upgrade establishes the protocol infrastructure for Bitcoin Staking and Bitcoin Bonds, allowing eligible participants to generate BTC-denominated yield while keeping their Bitcoin under self-custody.
Stacks has announced its Genesis Bond, a key milestone in institutional adoption. The cycle is scheduled to begin around September 10, initially designed for pre-approved institutions.
The immediate hurdle for STX is now $0.24-$0.25. A sustained daily close above this resistance would strengthen the reversal structure and put $0.30 in focus. Above $0.30, the next major supply zone sits around $0.40-$0.42.
