Stagnant Bitcoin Price Caught Between Accumulation and Expansion

Bitcoin's price remains stuck below $80,000 as it navigates a market caught between accumulation and expansion. According to CryptoQuant data, the DTMM indicator currently stands at 2.03, indicating that the market has not entered a strong expansion phase but has moved beyond the level associated with deeper accumulation.

The position of the indicator is also reflected in other market data. The Short Term Holder realized price was $69,371, giving traders a reference point below the current BTC price. Meanwhile, funding rates remained close to neutral at 0.0056, suggesting that traders are not using large amounts of leverage to push the market in one direction.

However, the Coinbase Premium Index was negative on both daily and hourly timeframes, pointing to weak spot buying pressure from the United States. This, combined with rising realized profits and retail selling, adds pressure to Bitcoin's price.
