Stand With Crypto Boosts Bipartisan Support Ahead of Midterm Elections
Crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto has expanded its bipartisan support ahead of the November midterm elections. The organization, founded by Coinbase, has endorsed 32 additional U.S. House lawmakers, bringing its total number of online members to over 3 million in the United States.
The new list includes prominent figures such as House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn 'GT' Thompson, and Bryan Steil, who leads the digital assets subcommittee within the House Financial Services Committee. Stand With Crypto also endorsed Democrat Jim Costa, a senior member of the House Agriculture Committee.
The group's latest endorsements target lawmakers who may shape digital asset legislation, committee work, and tax policy in the next Congress. Several endorsed lawmakers sit on committees expected to handle crypto policy, including the House Financial Services, Agriculture, and Ways and Means committees.
