Stand With Crypto Endorses Lawmakers Supporting Clarity Act

Stand With Crypto, a pro-crypto group backed by Coinbase, has endorsed 32 U.S. lawmakers who supported the Clarity Act in last year's House vote. The organization sees this move as a way to elevate the Clarity bill, which is currently pending in the Senate and aims to provide legal clarity for the cryptocurrency industry.

The endorsement list includes lawmakers who voted yes on the Clarity bill last year, with the goal of laying groundwork for legislation in the next session. Stand With Crypto director Rinao stated that the group's focus this year is on proving the existence of crypto voters and demonstrating its organizing capacity and supporters' ability to mobilize votes.

The organization has a large supporter base, claiming it can mobilize 2.7 million supporters. A survey of 1,000 cryptocurrency holders conducted by Stand With Crypto in February found that 59 percent of crypto holders and 77 percent of the group's voters do not consistently vote for a particular party.
