Standard Chartered has raised its price target for Chainlink's LINK to $200 by the end of 2030, forecasting a 25x increase in fees. This projection is based on the bank's estimate that tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) will reach $4 trillion by 2028 and DeFi growth will be 37 times its current value.

The report, authored by Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, also sets price targets for Bitcoin and Ethereum: $500,000 and $40,000 respectively by the end of 2030. Chainlink's fees will scale approximately 25 times by 2030, with the token price tracking fee growth proportionally.

Kendrick notes that tokenized assets require large volumes of trusted external data delivered on-chain, which Chainlink provides. The bank estimates that Chainlink's total value secured is above $110 billion, spanning roughly 70% of oracle-dependent value in DeFi globally and more than 80% on Ethereum.
