Standard Chartered Forecasts SKY Token Price Rise
Standard Chartered has released a research note forecasting that the SKY token will rise to $0.325 by the end of 2028, five times its current price of around $0.06.
The note, from Geoff Kendrick, the bank's global head of digital assets research, estimates that the value Sky passes on to SKY token holders will increase by five times by the end of 2028, driven by growth in both the Sky ecosystem and USDS outstanding.
According to Standard Chartered, the Sky protocol acts as a federal bank, issuing money (stablecoins), creating a governance framework, and charging interest to borrowers. The note identifies increasing USDS outstanding as 'the key to increasing profit over time.'
