Standard Chartered Predicts LINK Will Soar to $200 by 2030
Standard Chartered's prediction of Chainlink (LINK) reaching $200 by 2030 has sparked interest in the cryptocurrency market. The bank's analysts expect tokenized assets to grow from $340 billion today to $4 trillion by the end of 2028, with Chainlink fees rising roughly 25 times as that activity grows.
Chainlink already secures more value than any other oracle network, with a total value secured above $110 billion. The bank's analyst, Geoff Kendrick, notes that tokenized funds and bonds need net asset values, interest rate data, and reserve attestations, which off-chain customers pay for.
The prediction implies a significant increase in Chainlink's price, from its current level of around $7.47 to $200 by 2030. However, the bank's previous predictions for UNI, AAVE, and MORPHO were met with skepticism, and it remains to be seen whether Chainlink will follow a similar path.
