Standard Chartered Raises Bitcoin Price Target Amid Rising Prices
Standard Chartered has upgraded its Bitcoin price target for the end of 2026, citing rising prices and ETF inflows. The bank previously predicted a target of $100,000, but now believes this is too conservative.
The surge in Bitcoin's price to $76,844 has led analysts to raise their expectations, with some predicting it could approach its all-time high of $126,000 by the end of 2026. However, not everyone agrees on Bitcoin's future trajectory. Some analysts, such as Cory Klippsten, see $80,000 as a key resistance level, while others, like Peter Schiff, remain skeptical about Bitcoin's value and prefer gold instead.
Standard Chartered's revised target reflects the growing institutional interest in Bitcoin, which has led to increased investment through ETFs. As a result, the bank is now more optimistic about the cryptocurrency's potential for growth. However, as with any financial prediction, there are no guarantees that this will come to pass.
