Standard Chartered Sees Arbitrum ARB Token Price Soaring 70x by 2030
Standard Chartered is predicting explosive growth for Arbitrum's ARB token, forecasting it to surge 70-fold by 2030. According to Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, this growth will come from the blockchain's unique position in helping traditional finance firms move on-chain positions.
The firm notes that Arbitrum is one of two dominant layer 2 chains, along with Base, and earns a rolling fee of 10% of net protocol revenue when others build on its technology stack. Kendrick points to Robinhood Chain as an example of this success, which generated $5 million in fees for Arbitrum in September.
The analyst expects ARB to rise to $0.50 by the end of 2026 and climb each year to reach a price target of $10 by 2030. However, Kendrick also flags risks including slower tokenization and competition from rival chains, noting that ARB has no direct way to accrue value today.
Kendrick believes that as more TradFi operators launch on Arbitrum's stack, the blockchain will continue to attract users and generate revenue, potentially leading to a significant increase in the price of ARB. Standard Chartered forecasts $4 trillion of tokenized assets by end-2028, up from around $340 billion today.
