Standard Chartered Sees Arbitrum Surpassing Bitcoin and Ethereum by Over 70 Times
Standard Chartered, a major British banking giant, has issued a bullish prediction for the altcoin Arbitrum (ARB). According to The Block, the bank evaluated Arbitrum and forecasts that its token will reach $10 by the end of 2030. This represents an increase of more than 70 times from its current price of around $0.14.
Geoff Kendrick, Standard Chartered's global head of digital asset research, described Arbitrum as 'Blockchain for Traditional Finance.' He noted that its business model, which helps traditional finance firms transition to the blockchain, is well-positioned to benefit from the rapid growth in tokenized assets.
Kendrick highlighted the early success of Robinhood Chain and stated that this launch demonstrates Arbitrum's potential to become a leading blockchain infrastructure provider for traditional financial institutions. He also predicted that ARB will outperform both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), with BTC reaching $100,000 by 2026 and $500,000 by 2030, and ETH reaching $4,000 in 2026 and $40,000 in 2030.
Standard Chartered also emphasized that the tokenized real-world asset market is expected to reach $4 trillion by 2030. In this context, Arbitrum's competitive advantage in this environment becomes even more pronounced.
