Standard Chartered Sees Chainlink Price Surge to $200 by 2030
Standard Chartered has set its sights on Chainlink (CRYPTO: LINK), targeting a price of $200 by the end of 2030. This would represent a roughly 25-fold gain from the token's current price of $8.25.
In a note to clients, Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, outlined staged targets for Chainlink, starting with a year-end target of $13, then climbing to $41, $82, and $133 before reaching the final target of $200 by 2030.
The same note also sets ambitious price targets for Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) at $500,000 and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) at $40,000 over the same period. Kendrick's thesis is based on his forecast that tokenized assets on-chain will grow to $4 trillion by end-2028, with DeFi assets expanding 37-fold to $2.7 trillion by 2030.
