Standard Chartered Sees Sky Token Value Rise Fivefold
Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of Sky's SKY token with a price target of $0.325 by the end of 2028, representing a fivefold increase from its current value.
This prediction was made by Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, who likened Sky to a 'federal bank' due to its issuance of stablecoins and governance framework.
According to Kendrick, Sky's primary means of returning value to token holders is through staking rewards, with token buybacks accounting for a smaller share. The platform has established itself as the third-largest stablecoin issuer behind Tether and Circle, and the largest issuer of yield-bearing stablecoins.
