Standard Chartered Sees Tokenized Assets Soar to $4T, Predicts LINK Could Hit $200
Standard Chartered's Geoff Kendrick predicts a $4 trillion market for tokenized real-world assets by the end of 2028, which could lead to a significant increase in demand for onchain data infrastructure.
Kendrick argues that securely bringing external data onto blockchains will raise Chainlink's fee generation, supporting an end-2030 outlook of $200 for LINK. This is a potential 25-fold increase from the current price.
The bank also forecasts a 37-fold rise in tokenized and crypto-native assets deployed in DeFi, reaching $2.7 trillion by 2030.
