Standard Chartered Slashes XRP Price Target by 65% Amid Market Downturn
Standard Chartered has cut its year-end XRP price target by 65% to $2.80 following the cryptocurrency market's downturn in February.
The bank's global head of digital assets research, Geoffrey Kendrick, also lowered forecasts for major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL).
Kendrick warned that Bitcoin could test $50,000 before recovering later this year. XRP had fallen to its weakest level since November 2024 in February, trading around 59% below its July 2025 all-time high of $3.40.
