Standard Chartered Sticks to $28 XRP Target Despite Lowering Near-Term Forecast
Standard Chartered has adjusted its near-term forecast for XRP, lowering it from $8 in 2026 to $2.80, a 65% reduction.
The adjustment was made due to weaker price performance and slowing spot ETF flows, as well as high interest rates and geopolitical uncertainty.
However, the bank's long-term outlook for XRP remains unchanged, with a target of $28 by 2030, which Geoffrey Kendrick, Standard Chartered's Head of Digital Asset Research, calls a 'significant bullish signal'.
