Starknet Bitcoin Bridging Halted by Sophisticated AI Attacks

Atomiq, the platform that enables Bitcoin swaps to Starknet, has suspended all swap routes due to sophisticated AI-assisted attacks. These attacks have temporarily stopped BTC transfers to Starknet.

No user funds were lost as a result of this disruption, thanks to the secure proof-of-work escrow model used by Bitcoin.

Users can still claim refunds for past swaps via Atomiq's web app.

Starknet plans to restore Bitcoin bridging within days with a new integration that will support zero-slippage swaps and the strkBTC token.
