StarkWare has completed the first quantum-resistant transaction on the Bitcoin main network. This milestone occurred without an upgrade to the blockchain, marking a significant step forward for the protocol.

The transaction was verified on block number 964199 and represents a new testing ground for BTC ($79,492.00).

However, it is worth noting that the method used results in costs ranging from $75 to $150 per transaction, limiting its current applicability.
