Startale Unveils Onchain Finance Infrastructure and Self-Custodial Visa Card
Startale Group has made significant strides in its vision for an onchain economy by unveiling two major product launches at WebX 2026. The Tokyo-based company introduced Startale Onchain Finance Kits (OFK), a suite of proprietary onchain financial infrastructure software kits designed specifically for financial institutions and enterprises. This move aims to accelerate the transition from traditional finance to the onchain economy.
As part of its long-term strategy, Startale is expanding its ecosystem to support both institutional adoption and consumer utility. The company has developed expertise across various areas, including institutional trading, bond issuance, privacy, developer infrastructure, blockchain development, and stablecoins. With OFK, institutions can now access a defined, ready-to-deploy infrastructure framework that removes the need to build core onchain capabilities from scratch.
The Startale Card, a self-custodial Visa card, is another key launch that enables users to spend their Soneium assets anywhere Visa is accepted. This marks a major milestone in Startale's vision to become the App for More than Money, providing users with a seamless experience to manage, grow, and spend their wealth.
Startale Group CEO Sota Watanabe emphasized the significance of onchain finance, stating, 'Financial institutions are no longer asking whether onchain finance will become part of the future financial system. They are asking how to participate.' With OFK and Startale Card, the company continues to build the infrastructure for the next generation of onchain finance.
