StarX Network vs Grey Network: Mobile Crypto Mining Showdown Heats Up
Two mobile-first crypto mining projects, StarX Network and Grey Network, are vying for attention in the rapidly growing field of smartphone-based cryptocurrency mining.
StarX Network uses a tap-to-mine model, where users mine $STRX tokens through a gamified app connected to a secure cloud backend. The project has a fixed 90 million token supply on Binance Smart Chain and follows a clear halving schedule that reduces mining rewards on a published timeline.
Grey Network also employs a tap-to-mine model but with its own Proof of Mobile Engagement system, which ties rewards to genuine participation rather than raw computing power. The project has a fixed 2.1 billion token supply and plans to launch its own Layer-1 chain with a dedicated Grey-Virtual Machine for future developer activity.
While both projects offer free entry and cloud-based mining with no impact on phone battery or data usage, they differ significantly in their underlying infrastructure and tokenomics. StarX Network has already completed its Phase 1 foundation stage and is currently in Phase 2, while Grey Network is still earlier in its process.
