Stellar Nears $4 Billion Mark in Tokenized Real-World Assets
The Stellar network has reached an impressive milestone in its tokenized real-world asset value (RWA), nearing $4 billion after a significant increase of 360% in 2026. As of August 29, the RWA value stood at $3.996 billion, a substantial rise from the $868.8 million recorded at the end of last year. This rapid growth has led to multiple billion-dollar milestones throughout the year, with the network crossing $1B in January, $2B in April, and $3B in June.
According to data from Dune Analytics and Stellar, the largest contributor to the RWA value is Spiko, holding approximately $1.55 billion as of August 27. However, it's essential to note that this figure is not a precise share of the network's total, as the readings were taken on different dates.
Stellar's RWA market spans various asset classes, including tokenized U.S. Treasurys, private and public credit, non-U.S. government debt, and more. While the network has seen significant growth in its RWA value, it's crucial to separate this from stablecoin transfer volume on Stellar, which reached an all-time high of $11.4 billion in Q2.
