Stellar Network Surges to Record Activity Amid Critical Support Zone
The Stellar network has reached a record level of on-chain activity in December, despite its native token XLM trading near critical support levels. Operations on the network reached their highest level for 2025, with total value locked surpassing $179.18 million.
According to data from Artemis, payment-related operations on Stellar hit a high point in December, indicating stronger cash flow and asset transfers. Chain transactions also showed steady growth with signs of a breakout.
The surge in network activity coincides with institutional involvement, as US Bank began testing stablecoin issuance on the Stellar network. This development is seen as a key factor contributing to the rise in total value locked.
