Stellar's price has surged over the past week, closing in on XRP. According to recent data, Stellar (XLM) has climbed more than 22 percent over the past seven days and is attempting to enter its next breakout zone.

The move unfolded with XRP rising first, followed by XLM. XRP rose 40.94 percent on the week to $1.3988 and is now trading around $1.51. In contrast, Stellar rebounded and is holding above $0.1990.

The catalysts driving the two networks differ. XRP's rise was attributed to a White House meeting involving Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and issues related to the Clarity bill. Stellar, on the other hand, is expanding its presence in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, with the scale of RWA on the Stellar network exceeding $3 billion.

Stellar's growth has been attributed to its integration with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), which manages over $114 trillion in assets. Work is underway to introduce Russell 1000 inclusion securities and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to Stellar in the first half of 2027.
