Stellar XLM Surges as Tokenized Assets Reach $3.06B and Stablecoin Volume Hits $6.45B
The Stellar XLM blockchain has seen significant growth in tokenized real-world assets (RWA) and stablecoin supply. According to Scopuly, a wallet platform, Stellar XLM now hosts $3.06 billion in RWA across 70 products, placing it second only to Ethereum in this category.
This growth is accompanied by a 38.3% increase in stablecoin supply on the network, with monthly stablecoin transaction volume reaching $6.45 billion. However, real-world asset transfer volume has fallen to $386 million, indicating that assets are accumulating faster than being actively traded or moved.
The combination of rising asset totals and falling transfer volume points to an early stage in the network's development cycle, according to Scopuly. The next phase involves converting held assets into higher transaction activity, which is supported by institutional infrastructure projects such as integration with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation.
