Stellar's Institutional Traction Grows Ahead of Protocol 28 Upgrade Vote
Stellar is gaining traction among institutional players as its price approaches $0.20. The network's settlement infrastructure has been put to the test through a partnership with Nuvanté Technologies and the Bank of England's RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement) system.
Nuvanté built a stablecoin clearing prototype on the Stellar network, which was integrated with the Bank of England's RTGS test environment. This experiment tested stablecoin clearing and settlement flows against central bank infrastructure.
The upcoming Protocol 28 upgrade vote on September 16 will focus on improving network performance and Soroban smart-contract operations. The release contains three technical proposals: CAP-83, CAP-85, and CAP-86.
XLM is trading near $0.194 at press time, with a daily close above $0.20 expected to break the trendline resistance and expose $0.22 as the next hurdle.
